What Do Most Drug Tests at the Workplace Look For?
Drug problems create a whole host of problems for employees. The employee could get hurt at work, creating legal problems for the company. The employee might also be inclined to steal or may do a poor job as a result of a drug problem. For this reason, many employers conduct drug tests either before employment, at random times during employment, or if a workplace accident occurs. Drug tests at the workplace look for evidence of illegal drug use or substance abuse problems.
Drug tests at the workplace are performed to test employees for certain substances present in their systems. Most labs that offer drug tests offer multiple types of tests to look for a variety of substances.
